Red Chair Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyors to join a premier residential developers’ commercial department in North Dublin. The successful candidate will manage project costs, procurement, and contract administration, ensuring financial efficiency and quality delivery. This is a full time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee cost management from project inception to completion.
- Prepare budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts.
- Manage tendering and procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with Irish construction regulations.
- Conduct regular financial reporting, including cash flow forecasts and cost analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and contractors.
- Identify and mitigate cost risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor variations, change orders, and value engineering opportunities.
- Ensure accurate valuations and payment applications are processed efficiently.
- Utilize industry software for cost tracking and reporting.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of Irish construction contracts and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Cubit, CostX, or similar).
