After selling his 1st recruitment company, he then opened Red Chair Recruitment in Killarney & Dublin. Red Chair Recruitment is a specialist in delivering great talent across the Technology, Education, Finance, HR, Medical and Sales Markets.
Fred’s reputation as a recruitment expert has been earned over many years placing individuals in challenging roles with precision, absolute discretion and high service levels. He has been a committee member and holds a Fellowship of the National Recruitment Federation for over 6 years. He is also co-founder of the Kerry Expo that has grown year on year to become the largest gathering for businesses in Kerry with over 9K visitors and 125 exhibitors.
Achieving one of his personal goals recently, Fred trekked with one of the world’s most experienced explorers, Mike O’Shea, in Nepal to the dizzy heights of Mount Everest Base Camp and Beyond. Fundraising & helping to open a school in remote Nepal for 600+ children while he was there.

I have spent the past ten years in senior management roles primarily in the hospitality industry. Prior to this I held a number of senior financial positions in both multinational and blue chip companies. These companies ranged in industry from FMCG, Retail and Media.
Over the years, I have become acutely aware of the importance of human resources to any successful organisation.

A Killarney native I have always strived for my community its rich history and kept a close eye on the incredible locals and local businesses (in between holes at the world-famous Killarney Golf and Fishing Club, of course). Beginning my career spending eight years in Killarney’s lucrative 5* Hospitality industry, I fell in love with the diversity, not only of the great people that make up these establishments but also the fascinating people that were drawn through the doors by Killarney’s global reach.
Having experienced all areas of the hotel, achieving a degree in hospitality Management along the way, I felt my passion fell heavily in the recruitment side of the business. I feel a great sense of pride in watching talented professionals come through the doors and grow within a business. That why I am delighted to have made the move into the world of recruitment, where I can offer my skills and contacts with the fine hotels in Killarney, Munster and Ireland. Covering the corner of hospitality here at Red Chair, I am delighted to meet with the best people in every area of the trade.
In my fourth year with Red Chair Recruitment and now my position is the Client Business Manager for Hospitality, Medical & Healthcare, Retail and Sales sectors. It is my responsibility to liaise and develop business relationships with new and existing clients, understand their needs and company objectives/goals and provide the staffing solution that they require for their business.
Working with a resource team to identify potential candidates for our clients, this allows us to effectively source talent and match the criteria of each individual business and recruitment need.
As the Client Business Manager and main contact for these sectors, I am responsible for every stage of the recruitment and on-boarding process for successful candidates. It is my years of Sales and Business Development and the fact that I really enjoy my job that makes me successful at what I do. I am the Head of Client Solutions and undertake re-engineering end-to-end processes for new solutions, supporting the roll-out of a service into a new location and performing data analysis on information gathered during a programme.
I am passionate about developing client/supplier communications, managing suppliers and contractors during the course of a transition/migration programme, devising training schedules and supporting the execution of all required training to new teams. It’s the best job in the business and I’m delighted I get to do it with the clients and colleagues we have.
I am responsible for the international sector at Red Chair Recruitment. I collaborate with clients across the globe and develop valuable and influential links in key territories. This collaboration has given me an important opportunity to continue to learn and grow my skill-set in this fascinating sector.

I have been working with Daragh in Red Chair Recruitment for over 2 years now, I have been given the opportunity to finally relocate to Ireland again and have been tasked with managing our resource & training sector. My speciality is building commercial relationships across multiple sites at a national level, and I am excited to accept my new role as Commercial Client Relationship Manager with Red Chair in our office in Dublin, while also maintain a presence in our Kerry & Cork Offices.
Having been in the market for over 20 years I have an in-depth understanding of how to achieve my business/life goals. Jennifer Boyle founded and managed her own Data Management Business in Dublin then Kerry. Her experience of process and people management is vast. Having worked with government agencies and private companies on the largest data processing projects in the state she has earned a reputation as an innovative results-driven professional.
In the last four years Jennifer has shared her skill set and experience with other businesses and has worked alongside their teams addressing their day to day challenges with people, processes and future growth. She teaches smart working and techniques, provides a ‘ wingman’ business support service to management and employees and ensures that companies are GDPR, HR, IT compliant. Her experience in running an SME in Ireland for 28 years enables her to share the skillset she has developed and provides a support service to many of Red Chairs’ clients who not only need people but need an independent view and practical solutions to ensure growth and success.
