We are presently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join our clients, who deliver large-scale industrial, warehousing, distribution, and infrastructure-related projects across Dublin and surrounding regions. The successful candidate will play a key role in commercial management, cost control, procurement, and contractual administration across multiple fast-paced projects. This is a full – time, permanent position.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of logistics and industrial construction projects.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering exercises to optimize project profitability.
- Administer subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and appointment processes.
- Monitor project costs, cash flow forecasts, and financial reporting throughout project lifecycles.
- Prepare and evaluate interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with contract conditions and company commercial procedures.
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain commercial control.
- Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support dispute resolution and claims management where required.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, change orders, and commercial correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly commercial reports for senior management.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets and financial targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within construction, logistics, industrial, or specialist contracting sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and commercial management practices.
- Experience working on large-scale logistics, warehousing, distribution centre, or industrial projects is highly desirable.
