We are presently recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join our clients who deliver major logistics, industrial, warehousing, distribution, and infrastructure projects across Dublin and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering works while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a full time, permanent position.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise day-to-day civil engineering activities across multiple project sites.
- Set out works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Carry out site surveys, levelling, and quality checks using surveying equipment.
- Ensure all works are completed in compliance with design specifications, building regulations, and health & safety standards.
- Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting.
- Monitor and manage site quality control procedures and documentation.
- Support the management of subcontractors and ensure works are completed to programme timelines.
- Review technical drawings and resolve engineering or construction issues on site.
- Prepare and maintain accurate site records, reports, and as-built documentation.
- Participate in site meetings and contribute to project performance reviews.
- Identify potential project risks and support implementation of mitigation measures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in a Civil Engineer role within construction, logistics, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong experience in setting out and site engineering activities.
- Experience working on logistics, warehousing, industrial, or large-scale commercial projects is highly desirable.
- Full clean Irish driving licence required
