We are presently recruiting for Graduate Civil Engineer for our clients, a Consulting Engineering company in Charleville. This position is ideally suited to a recent graduate who is looking to gain hands on experience in the sector. You will be required to undertaking technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs on a daily basis. This position is based in office in County Cork and will require site visits.
Responsibilities within position
- Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
- Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors
- Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
- Resolving design and development problems
- Managing budgets and project resources
- Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
- Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety
- Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
- Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
