We are presently recruiting for a Mechanic to maintain and repair grass-cutting machinery, engines, and electrical systems for our clients in Killarney, County Kerry. The company in question Services and maintains Lawnmowers, Garden equipment and golf course and commercial grass-cutting machinery, diesel/petrol engines, and 12-volt electrical systems. This is a permanent, full – time position working Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and repair golf course and commercial grass-cutting equipment.
- Diagnose faults in diesel/petrol engines and 12-volt systems.
- Maintain accurate service records.
- Ensure health & safety compliance.
- PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) of new equipment, testing and setting up
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ Experience in mechanical repairs (grass-cutting, agricultural, or similar machinery preferred).
- Knowledge of diesel/petrol engines and 12-volt systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Full driving licence to go out on service call outs when required.
