We are presently recruiting for HGV Drivers for our clients in North Kerry. As a HGV Driver, you will be required to safely and efficiently deliver equipment and products to homes and businesses, maximise your driving hours by using your local knowledge while maintaining a professional and customer-friendly approach. You will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and upholding the company’s reputation on the road. This is a full-time position during the day, home in the evening.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV vehicles in compliance with road safety regulations.
- Transport goods efficiently between designated locations.
- Carry out vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness before journeys.
- Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and logbooks.
- Adhere to company policies and industry regulations, including driver hours and tachograph requirements.
- Load and unload cargo when necessary, ensuring correct handling of goods.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to ensure smooth deliveries.
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers.
Requirements:
- Full Clean HGV Licence essential.
- Artic Truck driving experience.
- Strong understanding of road transport regulations and safety protocols.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- A professional and customer-focused attitude.
