We are recruiting a Mechanic Foreman for a well-established, approved service centre in Macroom, Co. Cork. The role suits an experienced mechanic with strong diagnostics and the ability to lead a small team. This is a full-time, permanent, Monday–Friday position.
Duties:
- Supervise and support a small team to ensure high-quality, efficient work.
- Carry out advanced diagnostics and resolve complex mechanical/electrical faults.
- Oversee NCT prep, recalls, repairs, and full servicing.
- Maintain safety, quality, and manufacturer standards.
- Allocate daily tasks and assist with repairs when required.
- Liaise with customers, provide estimates, and give technical updates.
- Manage parts ordering, stock, and service/repair records.
- Perform final quality checks, including road tests.
- Keep the workshop organised and compliant.
Requirements:
- Full driving licence.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a qualified mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic ability.
- Supervisory/senior workshop experience an advantage.
