We are presently recruiting a Financial Accountant for our clients, a leading hotel in Killarney, County Kerry. You will be a focal point in all aspects of financial operations and work on monthly reporting duties, cash reconciliation, tax and forecasting. This is a permanent, full time position, based in Killarney, County Kerry.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the company
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
- Assist with audits and tax filings
- Provide financial analysis and advice to management
- Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures
- Manage payroll processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or ACCA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
