We are presently recruiting for a new qualified or Part qualified Accountant for our clients Audit Department in Tralee, County Kerry. Working with Senior Auditors, you will assists in financial audits, analyzing data for internal controls, and supports audit documentation. This is an ideal position to gain extensive experience, learn from Audit Managers and develop skills. This is a full time position and ideally suited to young professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and conducting financial audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with audit teams to analyze financial data and assess internal controls.
- Prepare audit documentation and reports under supervision.
- Contribute to risk assessments and audit planning processes.
- Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Support the implementation of new audit procedures and policies.
- Communicate audit findings to senior team members.
- Work with clients to gather necessary information for audits.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of audit methodologies.
- Pursue ongoing professional development toward full qualification.
Qualifications:
- In-progress qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) in accounting or auditing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
