We’re delighted to have been featured in a recent Irish Examiner article on the importance of Kerry–Dublin flights for local businesses.
As our Managing Director, Fred McDonogh, shared in the piece, this service is nothing short of a game-changer for Red Chair Recruitment.
“Our business is split between Kerry and Dublin, making this service critical for us. We have staff across both areas using it at least every fortnight,” Fred told the Irish Examiner. “Our workforce is also split, with three based in Dublin and the remaining 19 here in Killarney. But in addition to that, we also use the service to fly candidates so they can interview for jobs in person.”
For many smaller companies in Kerry, meeting candidates face-to-face is still an essential step in hiring, and these flights make that possible, quickly, efficiently, and without unnecessary delays.
As a preferred supplier for the HSE, this link is also vital in helping us bring doctors, nurses, and other medical staff from Dublin to Kerry to interview and work in Munster. In Fred’s words, “For this, the service remains invaluable.”
A huge thank you to John Mulhern, Basil Sheerin, and John Drummey at Kerry Airport for making it possible for local businesses like ours to connect people and opportunities in person, and to Emer Walsh at the Irish Examiner for shining a light on this important topic.
