Red Chair Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Service Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in County Kerry.
This is a hands-on, full-time position ideally suited to someone with strong mechanical aptitude, stock management experience, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. The successful candidate will play a key role in assembling machinery, managing parts inventory, and carrying out service and maintenance on machines both in-house and occasionally on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components to build custom machinery.
- Service and maintain machines in line with company standards and customer requirements.
- Manage stock levels of parts and tools, ensuring inventory is tracked and replenished as needed.
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure machines are built and functioning to spec.
- Liaise with clients and team members to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or mechanical assembly role.
- A mechanical or electrical qualification is an advantage but not essential – relevant hands-on experience will be considered.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Full, clean driving license may be required for servicing work.
