We are presently looking for a Plumber for one of our clients based in Co. Cork, You will be responsible for Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in domestic properties, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters. This is a full time position that is paying the market rates and includes a company van.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Install and connect plumbing fixtures, such as faucets, showers, and bathtubs, ensuring proper functionality and alignment.
- Install, repair, and maintain water heaters, including traditional tank-style and tankless models.
- Test and adjust water temperature and pressure to ensure safety and efficiency
- Clear clogged drains using plumbing snakes, augers, or hydro-jetting equipment.
- Inspect and repair sewer lines, including diagnosing leaks and performing necessary repairs.
- Install and repair gas lines for appliances such as stoves, ovens, and water heaters.
- Ensure gas lines are properly connected, sealed, and comply with safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues and prevent costly repairs.
- Recommend and implement preventive maintenance measures to prolong the lifespan of plumbing systems.
- Educate customers on proper plumbing maintenance practices and offer recommendations for improving efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in domestic properties.
- Must have own tools.
- Valid plumber’s license or certification.
- Proficiency in plumbing tools, equipment, and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and respond to emergency calls.
