We are presently recruiting for Pipe Fitters for our clients who are working on sites in various locations in Cork City. You will be required to Install pipes, read from plan and join points as required. This is a full-time position with sites in Douglas, Ringaskiddy and other locations in Cork City.
Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems.
- Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine piping layout.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools.
- Join pipes using welding, brazing, soldering, and mechanical fittings.
- Conduct pressure tests to ensure system integrity and identify leaks.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulatory codes.
- Collaborate with other construction and engineering professionals.
Qualifications and experiences:
- Valid safe pass certification.
- Proven experience as a pipe fitter.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures.
