Our clients in Listowel are presently recruiting for a Maintenance Fitter. As a qualified mechanical fitter with experience in a factory environment and have exposure to pneumatics and hydraulics, you will maintain and repair factory machinery, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults, install and optimise equipment, ensure safety compliance, and communicate issues while working collaboratively in a fast paced maintenance team environment effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- To maintain and repair all production machines and ancillary equipment, including Arburg and automated assembly machines
- Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise production disruption and update maintenance programmes to ensure process optimisation.
- Troubleshoot faults on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Various installations, set up, and optimisation of new production machines and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, maintain safe working environment while adhering to cleanroom and hygiene regulations.
- Keep management informed of issues and improvements.
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience as a Fitter.
- Relevant qualification as a qualified mechanical fitter.
- Strong ability to multitask across various machines.
