We are recruiting a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our client’s team in County Offaly, supporting Irish Water projects under the Panel Inspection Framework. This is a permanent position focused on inspecting, testing, maintaining, and carrying out minor upgrades to electrical panels and associated systems across multiple locations.
Key Duties:
- Conduct scheduled and routine inspections in line with Irish Water standards
- Troubleshoot issues and complete minor repairs on control panels, MCCs, and instrumentation
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including completion of risk assessments
- Produce clear and accurate reports after each site visit
- Work with site personnel and internal teams to coordinate access and scheduling
- Provide support for commissioning and decommissioning activities as needed
- Keep tools, equipment, and PPE in safe working condition
Requirements:
- Qualified Electrician with valid Safe Electric certification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial or utility environments
- Experience in water or wastewater treatment is beneficial
- Good knowledge of electrical schematics, control systems, and panel layouts
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel across Ireland
- Strong communication and reporting abilities
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
