We are presently recruiting an qualified Industrial Electrician for our clients in near Macroom, County Cork. You will be tasked Install and repair Electrical systems and remain in compliance with safety regulations and standards. The successful candidate would install electrical components, test, troubleshoot and repair any electrical components that may be below company or industry standards who mainly operate in the renewable, Pharma, Food, Brewery and industrial Engineering sectors. This is a full-time position based in County Cork and within easy reach of Cork City and Killarney, both roughly 30 minutes away.
Duties
- Earthing Installations
- Glanding & Terminating Power and Control Cables
- Installing Light & small power systems
- Installation of Fire alarm and public address
- Testing and verification of Electrical Installation
- Conduct wiring and panel upgrades.
- Electrical installation of Motors, inverters, contactors, sensors, relays as required.
Qualifications and experiences:
- 2+ years’ experience in similar position
- Successfully completed a National Certificate (Electrical) or another suitable award, equivalent to Level 6 or higher on the National Framework of Qualifications.
- Experience in a working maintenance/manufacturing environment is required
- Full Driving License
