We are presently recruiting for a General Operative for our clients in Killorglin, County Kerry. You would spend roughly half the week driving and half in the yard, assisting with day-to-day operations of the business. You will have a full driving license, have the ability to multi task and have a good knowledge of locations in Kerry, Cork and Limerick. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday working week with no Saturday work.
General Operative Duties:
- Perform various manual tasks, such as lifting, sorting, and packaging materials or products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Inspect and report any defects or issues with equipment or products.
- Work with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Handle materials responsibly and recycle waste materials appropriately.
Van Driver:
- Safely operate a company van to transport goods.
- Plan and organize delivery routes to maximize efficiency.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including receipts and signatures.
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations, ensuring road safety.
Experience and qualifications:
- Full, clean driving license.
- 2 years previous experience.
- Ability to use machinery, manual handling certificate.
