We are presently recruiting for a Finance Director for our clients, a group of Hospitals in the Western Caribbean. You will Lead the financial management of hospital facilities, ensuring robust governance, operational efficiency, and sustainable profitability. You will act as a strategic partner to hospital leadership, driving revenue optimization, cost control, and finance transformation initiatives. This is a permanent position
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial accounting, reporting, and month-/year-end close processes.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and statutory financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
- Manage revenue cycle: billing, collections, accounts receivable, and payer relationships.
- Monitor revenue performance, billing accuracy, and payer mix trends.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; analyze variances and provide actionable insights.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives across staffing, supplies, and operations.
- Support strategic initiatives including hospital expansion, digital finance programs, and ERP implementation.
- Lead and develop a multi-location finance team.
- Foster collaboration between finance, clinical, and operational teams.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation measures.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant / CPA / ACCA, educated and trained in either the UK or Ireland ONLY.
- 10+ years’ experience in finance with hospital or healthcare operations experience.
- Strong expertise in accounting, reporting, revenue cycle, and cost management.
- Experience in multi-location/shared services finance teams and finance transformation.
- Analytical, strategic, and results-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills
