Red Chair Recruitment are seeking a Business Development Coordinator for an innovative Irish software company serving the food industry. This role centres on sales administration, lead qualification, and pipeline development, supporting the Sales Director throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and generate prospects; manage inbound/outbound lead qualification
- Book discovery meetings and support preparation of presentations, proposals, and quotes
- Maintain CRM systems and ensure accurate tracking
- Attend sales meetings and support with notes, follow-ups, and actions
- Nurture warm leads and coordinate handovers
- Assist with demos, logistics, and alignment with marketing campaigns
- Track competitor and market activity
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years in sales support, BD, or lead generation (B2B)
- Strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders; proactive and resourceful
Desirable
- Business/commercial/accounting background
- Exposure to ERP or enterprise software
- Experience with HubSpot, JIRA, or similar tools
