Red Chair Recruitment are recruiting a B2B Field Sales Representative in Munster for our client who are a hardware tools, equipment and industrial products provider based out of Dublin. The successful candidate will be a key driver of revenue growth across a broad geographic territory in Munster, selling high-quality products to both independent hardware retailers and end-user customers (trade accounts, engineering workshops, industries, and contractors). This is a field-based role where building trusted, long-term relationships and delivering excellent customer service are core to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and convert sales leads
- Prepare quotes and negotiate pricing
- Prospect and win new B2B hardware and trade accounts
- Build long-term retailer and trade relationships
- Achieve territory sales targets through structured planning
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Demonstrate and present products to customers
- Maintain regular coverage across assigned territory
- Ensure strong in-store product display and visibility
- Provide product and after-sales support
- Liaise with internal teams on orders and delivery
- Keep CRM records and sales reports updated
- Track competitors and share market insights
- Attend trade shows and customer events
- Deliver responsive customer service and issue resolution
Key Requirements
- B2B field sales experience within the Hardware/Construction or Engineering sector is essential
- Strong understanding of sales pipeline management, CRM systems and sales forecasting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-centric attitude and ability to solve issues proactively.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams.
