We are presently recruiting a Panel Beater / Body Shop Technician for our clients, a main car dealer in Tralee, County Kerry. Working on all makes of vehicles, you will have a minimum of two years’ experience, work well as part of a team and will ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed. This is a full-time position based in Tralee, County Kerry.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate vehicle damage to determine necessary repairs.
- Perform repairs on vehicle bodies, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening.
- Use welding, cutting, and soldering tools to repair structural damage.
- Sand, grind, and prepare surfaces for painting and refinishing.
- Apply primers, paints, and sealants to restored areas for a seamless finish.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment.
- Ensure proper alignment and fit of vehicle components after repairs.
- Collaborate with other technicians, including paint specialists, to ensure comprehensive repairs.
- Provide accurate repair cost estimates and timelines to customers.
- Follow safety protocols and wear protective equipment during all procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, repair techniques, and best practices.
- Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and customer service guidelines
Experiences:
- 2+ years’ experience
- Recognised trade qualification
- Full driving licence
