We are looking to recruit a Baker for our client’s retail bakery located in Newcastle West. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to a busy in-store bakery environment, producing fresh baked products daily for retail customers. Early morning starts are part of the role.
Core Responsibilities:
- Produce breads, cakes and pastries with precision and consistency.
- Work through all baking stages, from dough preparation to finishing.
- Ensure proper use and upkeep of bakery ovens, mixers and equipment.
- Accurately measure and prepare ingredients.
- Comply with hygiene, health and safety regulations at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Bakery or culinary qualification is preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Capable of working under pressure while meeting quality standards.
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience.
