At Red Chair Recruitment we are currently seeking an experienced Baker to join our client’s in-store bakery based in Tralee, County Kerry. This is a full-time role, best suited to a motivated individual who enjoys early morning starts and producing fresh baked goods for same-day sale.
Main Duties:
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, pastries and cakes to a consistently high standard.
- Manage the full baking cycle – mixing, shaping, proofing, and finishing products.
- Use baking equipment (mixers, ovens, proofers) safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all recipes are followed precisely, maintaining food quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygenic workspace.
Candidate Profile:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a professional bakery.
- Formal bakery or culinary qualification desireable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy retail envireonment.
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience.
