We are presently recruiting for a Baker for our clients in County Kerry. Working in our clients in – Store bakery, you be required to produce baked goods on-site for immediate sale to customers. This is a full time position with a requirement of early morning start.
Responsibilities:
- Proficient in producing a diverse range of baked goods, encompassing bread, pastries, and cakes, while ensuring consistent quality and taste.
- Skilled in every aspect of the baking process, from ingredient preparation and dough handling to shaping, proofing, and baking.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various flours, leavening agents, and other baking ingredients, with the ability to adapt recipes as required.
- Experienced in operating and maintaining baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proofing chambers, to ensure optimal performance.
- Meticulous attention to detail in following recipes, measuring ingredients accurately, and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Skills and experiences:
- 2 years experience in a similar position.
- Trade qualification highly sought.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other kitchen staff and fulfill customer orders efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of productivity and quality.
