We are presently recruiting for a Garage Manager for one of our clients based in County Kerry. You will come with previous experience in a management or supervisory role within an automotive sector and will be tasked with overseeing all aspects of garage operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive mechanics, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the garage, ensuring efficiency and productivity in all processes.
- Maintain high standards of workshop safety and cleanliness.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of mechanics and support staff.
- Provide clear and accurate estimates.
- Manage inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a mechanic, with a strong technical background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within an automotive environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management.
