Red Chair Recruitment is seeking a detail-focused Plumbing Surveyor for a well-established home improvement supply and installation company in Tralee. This role suits someone with a background in plumbing, heating, or solid fuel systems who is confident conducting site surveys, defining job scopes, and preparing accurate quotations for stove installation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site surveys, measurements, and technical assessments
- Evaluate heating systems, flue routes, ventilation, and site constraints
- Define scopes of work and prepare clear job specifications
- Identify risks or compliance issues and propose practical solutions
- Produce survey reports, basic drawings, and customer quotations
- Review installation plans and coordinate with internal teams
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and relevant regulations
- Manage survey schedules and maintain accurate records
- Use digital tools for reporting and project tracking
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in plumbing, heating, stove installation, or similar
- Strong plumbing background essential
- Experience preparing quotations preferred
- Relevant trade qualification advantageous
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel
