Red Chair Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Heating Specialist to join a leading home improvement supply and installation business in Tralee. This role suits a technically strong heating professional who enjoys client interaction, site-based problem solving, and delivering high-quality survey and quotation services. For the right candidate, this role offers a clear pathway into Senior Specialist, Team Lead, and Division Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site surveys, measurements, and technical assessments
- Assess heating systems, flue routes, ventilation, and installation requirements
- Define project scope and prepare accurate quotations and specifications
- Identify compliance, safety, or technical risks and recommend solutions
- Produce survey reports, drawings, and installation documentation
- Coordinate with installation, sales, and operations teams
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide expert technical guidance
- Support process improvements, mentoring, and future team development
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in heating, plumbing, solid fuel, or related systems
- Strong technical and commercial understanding
- Experience surveying, quoting, and managing client projects
- Leadership capability with interest in team development
- Relevant trade qualification advantageous
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel
