Red Chair Recruitment are currently accepting applications for an experienced Operations Manager for one of our well-established clients in Kerry
The main responsibilities for the role will be to support and work closely with the business owners and senior management in the running of vibrant, busy bar & restaurant facility which can accommodate up to 400 covers daily. There is, on site, a main bar / dining room which can host up to 140 covers at capacity, with two additional areas which can house between 30 to 60 guests, respectively.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ Years experience in a similar role or Management role in busy Hotel, Restaurant or Busy bar environment.
- Experience with Stock Management, Stock Control and Ordering.
- Overseeing all Day to Day aspects of running the business.
- Planning & Implementation of SOP’s for all areas of cash handling, bar, food & drinks service
- Experience with Food Service, Reservations & Bookings Essential.
- Must be Presentable and Sociable as Clientele consists of Locals and Tourists.
- Excellent Communication, Leadership, Customer Service, Time Management, Rostering & Labour cost Control.
- Staff recruitment & Selection, training, and upskilling, Cocktail Making, Food & drinks Menu Planning.
- Ability to manage and work within a team as well as on your own initiative.
- Flexible with working 5 days per week / 40 hours which will include days, nights, and weekends.
- Full Clean Drivers Licence
PACKAGE ON OFFER
- Competitive salary from €50,000 to €55,000 per year dependent on experience.

Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience in an operations management role.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with relevant business software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
