Red Chair Recruitment are currently accepting applications for an experienced Head Chef for one of our well-established clients in Kerry
The main responsibilities for the role will be to take over the Kitchen Operation of a vibrant, busy bar & restaurant facility which can accommodate up to 400 covers daily.
There is, on site, a main bar / dining room which can host up to 140 covers at capacity, with two additional areas which can house between 30 to 60 guests, respectively.
This position is full time with a start time of 1st November 2024.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ Years Head Chef Experience within busy restaurant or hotel environments essential for the role.
- A creative flair and passion for cooking with an impressive portfolio to match.
- Menu Planning, Costing, and Implementation working with Company Head chef.
- Oversee day-today operations of all kitchen operations, including but not exclusive to HACCP & food safety, cleaning schedules, team leadership and development
- Experience of managing an all-year-round food offering and kitchen team.
- Exceptional Customer Service
- Exceptional Communication, Management, Organisation and Time Management, Rostering & Labour costing.
- Flexible with working hours to include mornings, afternoons, days, nights, and weekends.
- Kitchen management to include equipment care, maintenance organisation and servicing.
- Excellent Stock Control, Ordering, Budgeting and Forecasting experience with proven GP track record.
PACKAGE ON OFFER
- Competitive Salary of up to €50,000 – €55,000 dependent on experience and qualifications.
