Red Chair Recruitment is hiring two Garden Centre Managers for our clients in Limerick and Cork. Ideal for horticultural professionals with strong retail experience and people management skills. The role supports the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations, maintaining high standards, driving sales, and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Promote a safety-first culture and ensure site best practices.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales performance.
- Maintain high visual and merchandising standards.
- Support branch operations, keyholder duties, and business objectives.
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team.
- Manage stock, deliveries, and product availability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit standards.
- Handle admin tasks including stock, systems, and cash management.
Requirements
- Qualification in Horticulture (essential).
- Proven experience in garden centre or horticultural retail management.
- Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisation skills.
- Proactive, solutions-driven, and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in MS Office and POS systems.
