We are presently recruiting for an Estimator for our clients who specialise in the construction of large commercial buildings. You will Lead on relevant tenders, process and resources and manage supply chain inquiries. This is a full – time position and can be based in either Kerry or Dublin with a hybrid working week offered.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to add value and to mitigate against risks .
- Ensure monitoring of the tender process is in place for all tenders.
- Report on progress via estimating plan.
- Lead the pricing process.
- Lead the supply chain inquiry process.
- Maintain the cost base by assisting with latest quotations, framework rates – controlling costs, timing and quality in line with specified targets.
- Produce a detailed control document to handover to the delivery team.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
- A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction or Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Junior Estimator or gaining industry knowledge in a relevant field .
- Excellent IT skills.
