We are presently looking for a Deli Assistant for one of our clients based in County Kerry. You will be responsible for the preparation of all hot and cold food ensuring that all products are in line with health and safety guidelines. You will also have a friendly manner and be customer focused.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of deli products, including slicing meats, cheeses, and preparing sandwiches.
- Ensure all deli products are fresh, properly labeled, and attractively displayed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and offering product recommendations.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of deli items.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a deli or food service environment preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
