Red Chair Recruitment are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our financial services client in Killarney, County Kerry. This office-based role reporting to senior management, the successful candidate will lead and enhance the firm’s compliance framework, ensuring adherence to all regulatory, legal, and Central Bank of Ireland requirements. The role provides independent oversight and practical, hands-on support across all regulated activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop the compliance framework in line with Irish and EU regulations.
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise stakeholders accordingly.
- Conduct file reviews across branches, assessing regulated advice and documentation.
- Oversee AML/KYC compliance, deliver AML/CFT and fraud training, and act as AML contact point where required.
- Manage Fitness & Probity and Minimum Competency Code requirements.
- Oversee complaints handling in line with regulatory standards.
- Provide compliance guidance, training, and support across the business.
The Ideal Candidate
- 2–3 years’ financial services experience, including senior compliance exposure.
- Strong knowledge of Irish/EU regulation, AML/CFT, and conduct standards.
- Relevant qualification (completed or in progress).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and confident engaging senior stakeholders.
- Willing to travel nationally (approx. 20%).
