We are presently recruiting for a Legal Secretary for our clients, a well-established practice in Tralee, County Kerry. You will have two years’ experience in practice, have experience of using case management systems, and have the ability to multitask and provide administrative and secretarial support to legal executives and lawyers and be first point of contact with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Producing legal documentation such as court papers, contracts and wills.
- Answering all telephone calls.
- Being in charge of petty cash while keeping a detailed record of costs.
- Making appointments.
- General administration work.
- Using in house database.
- Schedule court depositions, hearings, and other meetings.
- Accurately file documents with the court ahead of deadlines.
- Transcribe and proofread legal documents.
Qualifications for Legal Secretary
- 2+ years’ experience as a paralegal or legal secretary.
- Familiarity with legal documents and terminology.
- Working knowledge of litigation management software systems.
- Ability to type with a speed of at least 50 wpm with high accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.
