We are presently recruiting for an Document controller / Office Manager for our clients, a construction company in Tralee, County Kerry. You will be responsible for overseeing administrative operations within a construction environment, with a strong emphasis on construction document control for state-funded projects. This role ensures regulatory compliance, accurate technical documentation management, and effective supervision of two administrative staff. This is a permanent position, based in office in Tralee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, contracts, and change orders.
- Implement and oversee robust document control procedures in accordance with state project compliance standards.
- Ensure timely distribution, version control, tracking, and archiving of technical documents.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, estimators, and external stakeholders to maintain document accuracy and integrity.
- Monitor compliance requirements specific to state-funded construction projects, including reporting and audit readiness.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate two administrative staff members, delegating workload effectively.
- Oversee office operations, including procurement of supplies, vendor coordination, and administrative systems management.
- Support bid submissions and contract documentation processes.
- Maintain confidential records and ensure data security standards are met.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years Proven experience in construction administration and document control.
- Familiarity with state procurement and compliance procedures.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
