We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Bread Baker to join our client’s bakery team based in County Kerry. As a Baker, you will take charge of preparing a wide range of bread products, ensuring each batch meets the highest quality and consistency standards. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of €30,000 to €40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix, knead, shape, and bake bread products in line with established recipes and production schedules.
- Monitor fermentation and proofing times to achieve optimal texture, flavor, and appearance.
- Perform regular quality checks on dough consistency, texture, and finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, ensuring everything is in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Identify and promptly report any equipment malfunctions or issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bread Baker or in a similar baking role.
- Strong knowledge of bread-making techniques, including mixing, fermenting, proofing, and baking.
- Familiarity with a variety of baking equipment and tools.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Physical stamina to handle standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items when necessary.
- Availability to work evening and night shifts, as required by production schedules.
