We are seeking an enthusiastic and sport-savvy Assistant Store Manager for our clients based in County Wicklow. Your main responsibility will be to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for fashion, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in managing daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and safety.
- Help recruit, train, and supervise store staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Create a welcoming and engaging shopping atmosphere.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining attractive visual displays and floor sets that align with the brand’s aesthetic and drive sales.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory counts, and ensure products are well-organized and accurately priced. Coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
- Support the implementation of sales strategies and promotions to achieve financial targets. Analyze sales reports and assist in developing action plans to improve store performance.
- Ensure store operations adhere to company policies, health and safety standards, and local regulations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail management or a supervisory role, preferably in fashion retail.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- A keen sense of fashion and knowledge of current trends.
- Proficiency in inventory management and visual merchandising.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
