Red Chair Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Tax Advisor on behalf of a well-established professional practice in County Kerry. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a motivated tax professional to join a growing team and provide high-quality advisory services to a varied portfolio of personal and corporate clients.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering expert tax advice, supporting clients with compliance obligations, and developing strategic tax planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice across Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, CGT, and CAT.
- Prepare and review complex tax computations and tax returns.
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies tailored to client needs.
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines and regulatory requirements are met.
- Conduct technical tax research and communicate clear, practical solutions to clients and colleagues.
- Liaise with Revenue on behalf of clients, including managing queries and supporting audit processes.
- Assist partners with specialist advisory projects and transactional work.
- Identify potential tax efficiencies and savings opportunities while ensuring full compliance.
Key Requirements
- CTA qualified (or equivalent) preferred; part-qualified candidates or qualified Accountants with strong tax experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a tax advisory role within practice.
- Strong working knowledge of Irish tax legislation and Revenue procedures.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and client relationship management skills.
