We are currently seeking a Service Delivery Manager to supervise and coordinate the comprehensive organisation of B2B (business) installations, with a focus on broadband, VOIP, and Managed WiFi setups. The ideal candidate will possess robust ICT skills and be accountable for managing end-to-end service delivery, ensuring installations are efficient and timely, while upholding exceptional service quality.
Our client is a leading provider of telecommunications solutions in the South Kerry region, specialising in broadband, VOIP, and managed telecoms solutions. The company is currently in a phase of expansion, with a focus on growing services in the B2B market. Their target is SMEs in the Munster area, providing personalised services and reliable connectivity solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee end-to-end service delivery for Business/SME installations, encompassing broadband, VOIP, and Managed Telecoms solutions.
- Collaborate with our client’s sales staff, field installers, and networks team to ensure prompt and efficient installations for business and SME customers.
- Configure hardware and software, including Managed WiFi routers, Cloud PBXs, and VOIP handsets, in accordance with client specifications.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the onboarding process, ensuring clear communication and managing client expectations throughout the installation process.
- Conduct on-site client meetings when necessary.
- Provide regular updates on progress, issues, and resolutions to customers and relevant stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and proactively implement actions to ensure smooth project execution.
- Analyse existing installation processes and recommend improvements for increased efficiency.
- Manage all related stock purchasing, supplier relationships, and inventory.
- Handle support tickets for B2B customers escalated from our client’s support desk.
- Participate in a weekend rota schedule to provide technical support to B2B customers during weekends and public holidays, ensuring continuous high-quality service.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant practical experience.
- Proven experience in the IT or telecoms sector.
- Strong understanding of WAN/LAN technology and VOIP technology.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others to achieve project goals.
Work Hours:
9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday inclusive.
(Total 40 Hours per week)
