Red Chair Recruitment are seeking a friendly, professional, and well-presented Receptionist to join the front office team of our client who is a 4-star hotel in Killarney. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in delivering a warm welcome and ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner and manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and amendments using the hotel property management system.
- Respond to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Process payments, issue invoices, and balance cash and card transactions.
- Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure guest needs are met.
- Promote hotel services, local attractions, and amenities in and around Killarney.
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience in a hotel reception or customer-facing role, preferably in a 4-star environment.
- Experience with taking bookings, organising itineraries, transport and working with tour groups
- Familiar and experienced with hotel CRM’s and online booking systems
- A professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
