Red Chair Recruitment are presently seeking a Project Manager for one of our clients, a state agent based in South Kerry. The ideal candidate will liaise with stakeholders, coordinate activities, and ensure the smooth execution of projects outlined in this initiative to combat population decline in the Gaeltacht area. The role is suited to someone with fluent in Irish both written and spoken. This is a part-time position based in South Kerry.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of comprehensive reports for stakeholders, including ongoing monitoring of performance metrics.
- Management of budgets and financial reporting.
- Public promotion of initiatives through various channels, including social and traditional media.
- Engaging with individuals interested in relocating to the area, offering information and local support services.
- Facilitating connections between prospective residents and available housing options.
- Assisting in the implementation of community-led housing projects specific to the area.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification with a minimum of two years of experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Irish language.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating and networking with community and government entities.
- Knowledge of funding avenues and prior success in securing external funds.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in social media platforms.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
