We are presently recruiting for HV Electrical Supervisors to work nationwide for our clients.
We are presently recruiting HV Electrical Supervisor for our clients to work in Ireland. You will oversee installation, maintenance, and testing of high-voltage systems in substations and industrial sites. You will coordinate teams, enforce safety standards, review technical drawings, plan works, and ensure compliance with regulations, delivering reliable power infrastructure while managing schedules, resources, and client expectations. This is a full – time, permanent position with travel through Ireland required.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Electrical Project Manager for ensuring operational safety in accordance with company policy and safety vision of “Everyone Home Safe Every Day”
- Ensure substation installation works are in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure the risks and control measures associated with the company’s activities are identified.
- Ensure full adherence to HSQE Briefs, safety documentation, uniforms and PPE equipment.
- Ensuring that delegated work is correctly planned, resourced, executed.
- Manage and prioritise electrical installation project workload.
- Co-ordinating substation installations.
- Monitor work across the project lifecycle.
- Attendance to regular progress meetings with clients as required.
- Work with installation teams to properly validate installations, operation, and performance of electrical systems.
- Travel to sites for site reviews and work with onsite field engineers.
Qualifications & Experiences:
- Technical qualifications with applicable electrical background -City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 /SJIB / JIB
- 5 + years experience with electrical substation installation projects up to 132 kV
- Understanding of substation LV electrical equipment
- Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to evidence recent relevant people leadership experience
- Thorough understanding of high-voltage circuit breakers, power and distribution transformers, electrical switchgear, grounding and earthing.
