We are presently recruiting for Graduate Civil Engineer for our clients in County Kerry. This position is ideally suited to a recent graduate who is looking to gain hands on experience in the sector. Reporting to Senior Civil Engineers, you will be required to undertake technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs on a daily basis. This position is based in office in County Kerry and will require site visits in Kerry and Cork.
Responsibilities within position
- Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
- Liaising with clients and a variety of subcontractors.
- Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures.
- Managing budgets and project resources.
- Scheduling material and equipment.
- Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
- Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
- Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.
