Red Chair Recruitment are presently recruiting an Accounts Administrator for a busy professional services company in Castleisland, County Kerry. Supporting the company accountants, you will be first point of contact with company clients and will offer support in a raft of duties from invoicing to VAT returns and payroll along with assisting in financial records, perform reconciliations and ensuring client compliance. This is a full-time position, based in Office in Castleisland, County Kerry.
Job Specification: Accounts Assistant
- Support senior accountants with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and Invoice preparation.
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
- Process invoices, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements.
- Communicate with clients regarding queries and required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and internal procedures.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and submit payroll information.
- Liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy at all times.
Qualifications and experience:
- Prior experience in a professional services environment is highly desired.
- AAT qualified or working towards a relevant accounting qualification.
- Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail.
