We are recruiting for a Purchasing Manager for our clients, a Group of Hotels in Shannon, County Clare. Reporting to the Purchasing Director, you will Manage end-to-end Purchasing’s Procure Wizard software and will act as a focal point for other staff members in the group’s hotels regarding purchasing of products and services. You will be responsible for making recommendations and evaluating e-procurement options, along with working with stakeholders to evaluate the procurement options available including the use of approved frameworks and identifying potential suppliers for the hotel group. This is a full time position, based in Shannon, County Clare.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement software.
- Acting as the super-user for the procurement system.
- Acting as the administrator and managing all configurations as well as troubleshooting.
- Prepare and presentation of Purchasing Documents.
- Project manage the procurement process.
- Manage e-procurement portal.
- Assist with tenders.
- Manage supplier management arrangements with external suppliers.
- Prepare and present reports.
Skills and experiences:
- Degree holder in related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar position.
- Experience using e-procurement software such as Procure Wizard.
- MCIPS qualification is highly desirable.
