Red Chair Recruitment are seeking a reliable and hardworking Insulation Sprayer covering residential projects throughout County Cork. The role involves installing insulation materials using specialised spraying equipment in homes to improve energy efficiency and comfort. All work must be carried out in accordance with SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) standards for residential insulation. The successful candidate will travel to various job sites across the county, so a full clean driving licence is mandatory. This is a permanent, full time position.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Install spray insulation in residential properties in line with SEAI standards and guidelines
- Prepare work areas, including protecting surfaces and setting up spraying equipment
- Apply insulation materials evenly and accurately to walls, attics, roofs, and other designated areas
- Ensure all installations meet SEAI requirements for residential energy efficiency upgrades
- Operate spray insulation equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and transport insulation materials, equipment, and tools to job sites across County Cork
- Work closely with team members to complete projects within agreed timelines
- Follow all health and safety regulations on residential job sites
- Clean and maintain equipment and ensure work areas are left tidy upon completion
- Report any installation issues or site challenges to supervisors
Requirements
- Full clean driving licence (mandatory) for company vehicle use – travel throughout County Cork is required
- Physical fitness is mandatory – the role involves manual handling, lifting materials, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
- Willingness to follow SEAI installation standards and procedures for residential properties
