We are presently recruiting for a Head of Procurement for out clients in Killorglin, County Kerry. You will work as part of the Senior Management Team providing strategic direction to the Purchasing team. You will be a Self-starter who with Strong negotiation and SAP skills. This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid working week option.
Responsibilities:
- Providing strategic input into the direction of the business
- Identify and build new relationships with suppliers
- Negotiate with current Strategic suppliers
- Oversight on Stock Management, cost and stock holding
- Accountable for keeping our customer offering up to date with latest technologies
- Inventory Trending/Min-Max levels/Safety Stock/Expiry reports/Bulk
- Stock management overview
- Supplier returns, open POs, logistic queries
- Pricing Policy management.
- Supplier reporting deadlines
- Maintain supplier pricing
