We are presently recruiting for Graduate Civil Engineer for our clients in County Kerry. This position is ideally suited to a recent graduate who is looking to gain hands-on experience in the sector. Reporting to Senior Civil Engineers, you will be required to undertake technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs daily. This position is based in office in County Kerry and will require site visits in Kerry and Cork.
Responsibilities within position
- Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
- Liaising with clients and a variety of subcontractors.
- Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures.
- Managing budgets and project resources.
- Scheduling material and equipment.
- Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
- Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
- Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.
