We are currently looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join one of our well-established clients in County Dublin. As a Duty Manager, you will oversee daily store operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage staff during their shifts. You will maintain high store standards, handle customer inquiries, and create a smooth, efficient, and safe shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring that staff deliver excellent customer service and that the store runs efficiently.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the store team, ensuring they follow company policies and procedures.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards at all times.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Monitor stock levels and work with the inventory team to ensure shelves remain stocked and organized.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on store performance, including sales figures, staffing levels, and operational issues.
Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in a retail environment, with supervisory or management experience highly preferred.
- Experience in a grocery store or similar setting is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with both customers and staff.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
