We are seeking an experienced Checkout Manager to join our client’s team in North Dublin. As a Checkout Manager, you will oversee the efficient operation of the checkout area, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage staff to optimize productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily checkout operations to maintain smooth processes.
- Lead, train, and motivate checkout staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Organize staff schedules, ensuring sufficient coverage at all times.
- Handle cash management, including accurate till reconciliation.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Develop and monitor queue management strategies to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and store policies.
- Assist in creating and implementing improved departmental procedures.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of retail management experience, ideally within a checkout department.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle a fast-paced environment.
